A one-woman studio in Bergen. Wheel-thrown stoneware, wood-ash glazes, two firings each.

“Elin's glazes have a depth I haven't seen from a studio this small — they sell out within days.”Astrid Halvorsen · Curator, Nordnes Gallery
I trained in Jingdezhen and then in Bergen, learning the discipline of porcelain before returning to the stoneware that feels like home. I have worked solo since 2016.
Every year around 340 pieces leave the wheel under my hands — each one thrown, trimmed, glazed and fired twice by me alone. I make things meant to be kept, used, and lived with.
Tell me the piece, the glaze, the table it lives on. Lead time about 3 weeks.
